Mary M. Koski

Mrs. Mary M. Koski, age 89, Iron River, MI, died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, MI. Born: August 7, 1917, Caspian, MI She was the daughter of the late Fred & Genevieve (Blazina) Kezerich and a lifelong resident of the area. She attended the Stambaugh schools graduating with the Class of 1936. She married John Koski on January 26, 1946 at the St. Mary's Church in Gaastra and the couple made their home in Stambaugh Twp. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1992. She was employed by City Laundry and Cleaners of Iron River and for F.W. Means of Caspian until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of the St. Cecilia Church, St. Anne's Society, Brule Country Club, Daughters of Isabella, American Legion Auxiliary, Former Treasurer of the Iron County Extension Council, Bates Modern Homemakers, Mother's Club of Caspian and the Iron County Artist Association. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John in 1966. She is survived by: Nieces, Nephews, and a Cousin. Visitation: Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Caspian. Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Caspian with the Rev. Norman Clisch, Pastor, to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. The ladies of the Daughters of Isabella will form an honor guard at the funeral service.
