Mary Lou Dorzok, age 65, of Tipler, WI, died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Northstar Health System, Iron River, MI. Mary Lou was born January 10, 1950 in Sheboygan, WI, daughter of the late Edmond and Mary (Degenhardt) Hou-Seye. She attended grade school in Sheboygan, and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1968. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan, and later graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She married Andrew Tripoli in Sheboygan on October 11, 1969 and the couple had one daughter, Mary Lou. She married LeRoy Dorzok in Tipler, WI on September 11, 1988, where the couple resided. While living in Sheboygan she worked in her parents business, the Jose chain of self-service gas stations, was employed as a cook at Heritage Nursing Center, and was employed as Data Processing Supervisor and later Operations Supervisor at the Kohler Credit Union, in Kohler, WI. After moving to Tipler, she and her husband LeRoy owned and operated Tipler Service Center and Dorzok Realty. She was an active member of the Big 4 Sportsmen Club and held the offices of Treasurer, Secretary, and President of the club at various times, and worked on the trap and pistol shoot committees. She was also a member of the National Rifle Association, Eagle Forum, Wisconsin Concerned Citizens for Life, Florence County Republican Party, the Wisconsin Association of Realtors, and the Greater Northwoods Association of Realtors. Mary Lou’s varied hobbies included sewing, quilting, baking, cooking “from scratch”, deer hunting, trapshooting, camping, growing flowers, and working on computers. She enjoyed working long hours in her businesses. Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Dorzok of Tipler; daughter, Mary Lou Palmer of Dallas, TX; five stepchildren; sisters Nancy (Russell) Nitsch of Shebyogan, WI and Pamela (Dennis) Holmer, of Sheybogan Falls, WI; brother, Job (Wendy) Hou-Seye of Sheboygan, WI; and granddaughters, Angelina Anderson and Madeline Palmer, both of Dallas; and great grandson, Ben of Dallas. She also had numerous nieces, nephews and step grandchildren. Private memorial services will be held.
