Mary Anne Nash, age 87 of Iron River, MI, died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Iron River Care Center, Iron River. Born: January 15, 1923 The daughter of Oscar and Jennie (Melstrom) Hanson attended school in Iron River and graduated from Iron River High School in 1940. She then attended Iron County Business College and received her certificate in 1942. Mary Anne moved to Detroit and was employed as a Payroll Clerk for Armond Casselle, Inc. Company. She married Mitchell Gannage in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1990. After the death of her husband in 1990, Bill and Dorothy Melstrom were instrumental in Mary Anne's move from Detroit to Iron River. She married Edward Nash on Oct. 26, 1991 in Iron River where the couple resided. Edward preceded her in death October 21, 2007. She attended the Grace Covenant Church, Iron River. She was also preceded in death by Ivan and Bill Melstrom, who were raised with her, and a sister-in-law, Florence Gannage. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Christine) Gannage of LosOsos, CA William (Michelle) Gannage of Dresser,WI One daughter, Jill (Rich) Paremba of Dearborn, MI Nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren One sister-in-law, Gloria Toye of Westland, MI Many dear nieces, nephew and extended family Visitations: Wednesday March 31, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home. Iron River and Thursday April 1, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Covenant Church, Iron River, MI Funeral Service: Thursday April 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Grace Covenant Church, Iron River with Rev.
