Maureen J. Wilson

Maureen J. Wilson, age 71, of Abrams, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Mount View Care Center in Wausau, WI. She was born on May 20, 1950, in Iron River, MI, the daughter of Jane (Johnson) Holm and the late Morries Holm. She attended the Iron River High School and graduated with the class of 1968. Maureen married Sam Wilson on September 25, 1971, at the First Lutheran Church in Iron River. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year. She was employed as a secretary at Sound World before retiring. Maureen enjoyed planting flowers and tending to her garden, watching tv, reading, and working puzzle books. Maureen is survived by her husband, Sam of Abrams WI; son, Aaron Wilson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; daughter Ami Smith of Green Bay, WI; brothers, Dale (Jo) Holm, Gale (Shelia) Holm, and Steve (Kathy) Holm, all of Iron River, MI and Bruce (Kelly) Holm of Marquette, MI; grandson, David Smith of Stiles, WI; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
