Mavis M. Remondini

Mavis M. Remondini, age 85, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at UP Health System-Marquette. She was born on May 10, 1935 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Matthew and Isabella (Buckman) Ambrose, Sr. She attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating with the Class of 1953. Mavis married Clement “Clem” Remondini on February 13, 1954 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian, MI. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2004. Clem preceded her in death on February 24, 2004. She was employed at Coleman Products and F.W. Means. Mavis was a member of Grace Covenant Church. She loved folk and country music and spending time with family and friends and just being around people. Mavis is survived by her son, Shane (Jayne) Remondini of Gaastra, MI; brother, Robert (Carolyn) Ambrose of Bowie, TX; sisters, Agnes (William) Hoglund of Palatine, IL, Patricia (Norman) Donnini of Hastings, MI, and Faye Pigeon of Gaastra, MI; grandchildren, Stephen Remondini and Shelby (Scott) Shepich; great grandson, Ethan Shepich; special friend, Tristin Caswell and family; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Remondini and brothers, Mathew Jr. and David Ambrose and Arthur Coumans. Private family services will be held.
