Michael P. Prepodnik

Michael P. Prepodnik, age 38, of Iron River, MI , passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 following an automobile accident. He was born February 12, 1977 in Crystal Falls, MI, the son of Michael V. and Patsy (Nordstrom) Prepodnik. He attended Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, IL, and was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He attended the First Baptist Church of Iron River and enjoyed bike riding with his son, building things, and camping. Michael is survived by his son Ethan Prepodnik of Iron River; daughter, Makenzi Prepodnik of Illinois; mother, Patsy Prepodnik of Iron River; sisters, Jeanann (Aaron) Upperstrom of Caspian, and Tracey Nordstrom of Iron River; nieces, Mercedes Lopez of Iron River, Alexis Lopez of Iron River, and Jadyn Upperstrom of Caspian; nephews, Miguel and Raul Padilla of Caspian; extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Father Michael V. Prepodnik. Visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2016 from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Down Treado to officiate to officiate.
