Michael R. Schneider

Michael R. Schneider, age 67, of Iron River, MI, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, MI. He was born August 11, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late George and Agnes (Perlowski) Schneider. After graduating from high school, Michael went on to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He was employed by Northrop Grumman Corporation as an Aerospace Scientist. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River. He enjoyed astronomy and playing rock and roll music. Michael is survived by his sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Schneider of Germantown, Wisconsin.   In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Joey Schneider. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev.
