Millicent Harrington

Millicent M. Harrington Age 91 Iron River, MI (formerly of Arizona)Died Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Iron River Care Center. Born: May 29, 1919 in Gaastra, MI The daughter of the late William M. and Ila (Moger) Duff attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School. Millicent married Earl Holmes and he preceded her in death. She later married Carl Harrington. She moved to Lansing, MI in the early 1960's and was employed by the Michigan School for Deaf and Blind until her retirement. She moved back to Gaastra for several years until moving to Arizona where she resided until May 2010. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and reading. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Faye Stromberg. She is survived by two sons; Mike (Colleen) Holmes of Iron Mountain, MI Brian Holmes of Lansing, MI One daughter, Susan Sullivan of New Mexico One brother, Russell (Sue) Duff of Orofino, ID Eight grandchildren Several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren Nieces, nephews and extended family Memorial Service: Friday, April 15, 2011at 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev.
