Nancy A. St. Germain Age 77 Iron River, MI Passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Iron River Care Center, surrounded by her family. She was born December 3, 1934 in Stambaugh, MI. The daughter of the late Michael and Agnes (Smedlund) Miatech attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School with the Class of 1952. She was employed as a secretary at the Verona Mining Company, Stambaugh High School, and later at the Iron River Chamber of Commerce. Nancy married Bernard J. St Germain on July 16, 1964 and the couple were lifelong residents of the area. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this year. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, loved being around people, and especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Son, Victor (Leigh) St. Germain of Coffee Springs, AL Daughters, Mary (Bill) Brown of Crystal Falls, MI Rose (Tom) Lazuk of Oak Lawn, IL Brothers, James Miatech (Carol Bubeck) of Estero, FL Donald (Goldie) Miatech of Prairie Du Chien, WI Kenneth (Clair) Miatech of Plymouth, MN Sister, Agnes Guiliani of Caspian, MI Six grandchildren, Jacob, Justin and Amelia St. Germain Michael and Amelia Lazuk Zack Brown Special cousin, Florence Pifke Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family She was preceded in death by five brothers, Michael, Gerald, John, Arthur and George Miatech, and three sisters, Genevive, Jean, and Alice. Visitation: Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, with Rev.
