Nicholas Zurek-Raymond

Nicholas "Nick" Zurek-Raymond, aged 30, passed away on June 22, 2024, in Caspian, Michigan. Born on August 27, 1993, in Waukegan, Illinois. Nick was a cherished son, brother, significant other, and father. Nick's love for the outdoors defined much of his life. An avid fisherman, frisbee golfer, and dirt bike enthusiast, he embraced the beauty of nature with open arms. His adventurous spirit was not only a source of personal joy but also an inspiration to those around him. Nick's unwavering love and commitment to his family were evident in every aspect of his life. He was a devoted father to his sons, Chase and Gavin, and a loving partner to Kristi Webber. He leaves behind a legacy of love and adventure, survived by his sons, Chase and Gavin Zurek; significant other, Kristi Webber; father, Charles Zurek III; stepmother, Debra Zurek; siblings, Charles Zurek IV (Janessa Fabian), Josh Zurek, Alyssa Zurek (Hunter Radtke), Crystal Swartz and Heather Shimek (Justin Hurst); nephews, Bryson and Crash; nieces, Joscelyn, Breelyn, Blakeli, Brielle, Brynlee, Eden and Allyson; and a close-knit circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Misty Raymond. The family is currently organizing a memorial service to celebrate Nick's life. Details will be shared as they become available. Nick's presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to live on through the memories he created with all who knew him.
