Pamela F. Bociek

Pamela F. Bociek, 77, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Iron River Care Center. She was born on March 23, 1947, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Eileen (Hilberg) LeClair. She attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School with the class of 1965. Pam married Leonard Bociek on June 18, 1966, in Stambaugh, MI. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in 2021. Leonard preceded her in death on December 31, 2021. She was employed as a teller at Wells Fargo Bank. Pam was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Iron River. She enjoyed crocheting and watching her kids and grandkids grow up and play sports. Family was the center of Pam’s world. Pam is survived by her sons, Scott (Heidi) Bociek and Todd (Amy Donati) Bociek, both of Iron River; daughter, Jennifer (Dan) Schive of Iron River; brother, John LeClair of Iron River; sisters-in-law, Roberta LeClair of Milwaukee, WI, Marge (Larry) VanDyke of Grand Ledge, MI, Jackie (Jim) Leppala of Appleton, WI, and Fran (John) Kane of Savannah, GA; great-uncle, Jim (Donna) Nocerini of Crystal Falls, MI; great-aunt, Dorothy Flora of Fairbanks, AK; grandchildren, Kristi (Colton) Kurtz, Allie Schive, Trey Bociek, Tori Bociek, Turner Bociek, and Avery Bociek; great-grandchildren, Stella, Crew, and Margo Kurtz; close family, Robyn (Paul) Wilgreen and family and Jason (Jen) LeClair and family; special friends, Lynn Coates, Sandie Coates, Kay Wester, and Judy Olson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Randy LeClair and father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Lorraine Bociek. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. A funeral service will follow at 11 am with Pastor DJ Rasner to officiate.
