Patricia M. Roberts

Patricia M. Roberts, age 87, of Long Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba, MI. She was born on November 14, 1935, in Crandon, WI, the daughter of the late Phillip and Cecilia (Seymour) Sheldon, Sr. She attended the Crandon Schools. Patricia married Robert “Bob” Roberts on January 15, 1955, in Crandon, WI. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in 2017. Bob preceded her in death on June 3, 2017. She was a member St. Norbert’s Catholic Church of Long Lake. Patricia had been a cook at the hotel in Long Lake and enjoyed feeding the people on the steam train tours. She liked to challenge her family to dice and card games. Patricia loved wolves and butterflies and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patricia is survived by her sons, Rob (Samantha) Roberts of Iron River, MI and Dave (Denise) Roberts of Gaastra, MI; daughters, Teresa (Patrick) Karle of Spalding, MI, Linda (Mike) Pierce of Florence, WI and Peggy Roberts of Long Lake, WI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Grant “Jim” Sheldon, Lyle Sheldon, Vernon Sheldon, Bruce Sheldon, Gale Sheldon, and Phillip Sheldon Jr. and sisters, Joyce Bailey, June Mulvihill, and Illa Mae Campbell. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23rd, 2023, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at St. Norbert’s Catholic Church in Long Lake, WI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 3 p.m. with Fr.
