Patricia A. Roberts

Patricia A. Roberts, age 71, of Iron River, MI, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. She was born on February 15, 1952, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Lawrence Gross and Joan (Gill) Gross Gibneski and stepfather, Theodore Gibneski. She attended the local schools, graduating from West Iron County High School with the class of 1971. Patricia married John Roberts on July 17, 1976, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River. They celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary in 2023. She was employed as a dietary aid at the Iron River Care Center before retiring. Patricia enjoyed bowling, spending time with her family, and visiting her friends and neighbors at the housing complex. Patricia is survived by her husband, John; sons, John and Timothy Roberts; sister, Bonnie (Larry) Evanoff of Caspian; sister-in-law, Dolly (John) Cimarelli; nephew, Mike (Teresa) Cimarelli, nieces, Jodi Evanoff and Kristie (Bob) Lindberg; great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ted Gibneski and nephew, Jeffrey Evanoff. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
