Patrick G. Gallup

Patrick G. Gallup, age 61, of Caspian, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Amasa, Michigan. He was born December 14, 1955, in Stambaugh, Michigan, the son of the late Gerald and Jean (Webber) Gallup. He attended the West Iron County High School, Gogebic Community College and Northern Michigan University. He was employed as a security guard for Project Services, Inc. and was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. He volunteered once a week at the Northwoods Animal Shelter, caring for the dogs. Pat loved sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and hearing of his nephew’s collegiate hockey achievements. He enjoyed discussing football facts, statistics and team transactions with his Uncle Ken Webber in Wyoming and his friend Don Martin. He also cherished the time he spent talking to his nieces. Pat was a quiet man with a big heart and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Patrick is survived by his sister, Joyce (Gallup) Duwe and brother-in-law, Todd Duwe; nieces, Ashley Duwe, Megan (Ryan) Lemke, Jessica Gallup; nephews, Bradley Duwe, Daniel Gallup; and two great nieces, Gracelyn Elizabeth Altobelli and Giavana Hope Lemke. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Diane Gallup.   A funeral service will be on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspain, with Rev.
