Paul Roger Joki passed away at his home in Nelma, WI Monday, June 13 at the age of 76. Paul was born in Wakefield, MI, where he grew up, eventually going into the army. He had a long career as a mechanic, retiring from Musson Brothers in Rhinelander. He lived in Rhinelander for many years, where his two daughters were born and raised. He married his wife Barb (Smith) Joki in December of 1991 and moved to Nelma. Retirement did not slow him down, building a house and taking on several other building tasks as years went on, among other things. The couple spent many summers traveling and seeing the country. He enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with Barb and his dog. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lolita Joki, and his sister Judy (John) Gardner. He is survived by his wife Barb, two daughters Beckie (Rod) Gaskill and Laurie (Wayne) Paugel, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and his sister Joyce LaGassa. Private family services will be held.
