Peggy A. Cronkright

Peggy A. Cronkright, age 70, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Iron River Care Center. She was born November 19, 1948 in Ewen, MI, the daughter of late John W. and Bernice (Foose) Lorendo.  She attended the Ewen schools and graduated. Peggy married Duane Cronkright on December 31, 1983 in Iron River, MI.  She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Iron River.   She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and dice games.  Her grandchildren were her life and meant the world to her.  Peggy is survived by her daughters, Dianna (Ashleigh) Anderson, Kim Carlson, Sandra (Steve) Carlson, Carol (Brady) Garver, Tina (Joe) Gettler, Peggy (Frank) Cress, Cheryl Cronkright, and JoAnne Menghini; sons, Ronald (Michele) Cronkright, Donald (Katrina) Cronkright, Wayne Cronkright, and Darrell Cronkright; brothers, Thomas, Richard (Tina), Robert, and Milton Lorendo; sisters, Kathleen Brady and Ramona (Kris) Thornton; grandchildren, Jasmine, Sierra, Riley, McKenna, Kyle, Gunnar, Akasha, Megan, Brayden, Zach, Christian, Lukas, Cyrus, Briella, Douglas, Nicholas, Lauren, Christina, Julia, Patti, Douglas, Jake, Brandon, Duane, Madeline, Marissa, and Andrew; numerous great grandchildren; extended family and friends.    She was also preceded in death by her husband, Duane; brothers, John and Charles Lorendo and grandchildren, Bryant and Angela.  Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Pastor Avery Carr to officiate.
