Peggy L. Smith

Peggy L. Smith, age 45, of Long Lake, WI, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the U.P. Health System in Marquette, Michigan. She was born April 29, 1972, the daughter of Edward and Loretta (Smith) Grant. After graduating from high school, she went on to earn her Associate’s Degree. She was self-employed as an Interior Designer for 20 years. She was a member of the Sokaogon Chippewa Tribe of Mole Lake, WI. She loved children and was a mother to everyone, always willing to lend a helping hand. She had a passion for interior design and enjoyed watching movies, working puzzles and spending time outdoors, especially around a campfire.   Peggy is survived by her mother, Loretta Grant of Alvin, WI; significant other, Emerich Chromcik II of Long Lake, WI; many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Grant and three daughters, Teasha, O’Darian and Christen Dobson, as well as many grandparents and extended family.
