Phyllis Audrey Gollakner

Phyllis Audrey Gollakner, age 72 of Watersmeet, MI, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI. Born: September 16, 1937 in Alvin, WI The daughter of the late Walter and Lucy (Huff) Ingram attended the Elvoy School and Iron River High School. Phyllis married Eugene Gollakner on September 21, 1962 and the couple were lifelong residents of the local area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Watersmeet. Phyllis enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, quilting, playing bingo, cooking, and ceramics. She also enjoyed collecting bells and dolls, and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Daughters; Myra Castillo of Iron River Amy (Mark) Pratt of Caspian Kelly Gollakner of Iron River Brother, Gerald (Beulah) Ingram of Nelma, WI Sisters; Patricia (Orville) Gaspardo of West Bend, WI Janice (Ed) Lundin of Indiana Victoria (John) Poulos of Iron River Six grandchildren; Christopher and Bradley Turner Katie and Dylan Pratt Justin Gollakner Hannah Miatech Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family Visitation: Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River and Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Iron River. Funeral Services: Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Iron River with Pastor John Fish to officiate.
