Randy J. Jacobs

Randy J. Jacobs, age 70, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. He was born on March 7, 1953, in Marquette, MI, the son of the late James and Mary (Kreitzer) Jacobs. He attended the Escanaba, MI Schools, graduating from Escanaba High School with the class of 1971. Randy married Kathy Way on July 15, 1972, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Escanaba. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2022. He retired as an investment broker from Edward Jones. Randy was a proud member of Wildlife Unlimited. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Randy is survived by his wife, Kathy; brother, Vance (Barbara) Jacobs of Roy, UT; sister, Valri (Larry) Waldner of Lakewood, CO; several nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and Patrick Jacobs. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church with Vicar Lance Crevier to officiate.
