Raymond W. Edlund

Raymond W. Edlund, age 79, of Caspian, MI, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023. He was born on April 29, 1943, in Iron River, MI, the son of the late Stanford and Mary (Anderson) Edlund. He attended the Stambaugh Township Schools. Raymond married Margaret Reed on June 27, 1973. The couple made their home in Caspian. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June of this year. He worked on the pipeline and Lindseys Dry Cleaning in Las Vegas. Raymond also worked for River House in Iron River as a caretaker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and taking trips to the casino. He loved to go for rides to the lake and the woods. Raymond is survived by his wife, Margaret Edlund; son, Michael Edlund of Green Bay, WI; daughter, Raeanne (Jeffrey) Greig of Iron River, MI; step children, Robert (Velinda) Eastham, Daniel Eastham, Nancy (Brian) Nichols, and Tamara (Robert) Skoglund; sister, Barbara Edlund of Iron River, MI; grandchildren, Madison, Megan, Heather, and Matthew; 20 step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Curtis, Allen, and Ronald Edlund and sister, Gloria Brown. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Resthaven Cemetery with Pastor DJ Rasner to officiate.
