Raymond C. Richard Age 83 Chicago, IL (formerly of Iron River)Died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Buckingham Pavilion Nursing Home, Chicago. Born: December 8, 1927 in Iron River, MI The son of the late Clifford and Julia (Houle) Richard attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School. Raymond served in the military during World War II in the Aleutian Islands. He then married the former Cleo Dennis on January 10, 1948 in Iron River. He retired from International Harvester/Navistar after 25 years of service, and he and Cleo then returned to Iron River for their retirement. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in 2007. Cleo preceded him in death on November 18, 2007. Raymond was a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River and served as a church usher. He is survived by his sister, Sally (Charles) Anys of Escanaba, MI Son, Gary Richard of Antioch, IL Three daughters; Dorothy (Mike) Brauweiler of Oswego, IL Barbara (Greg) Ziobrowski of Chicago, IL Debra Heinz of Mt. Prospect, IL 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren Numerous nieces and nephews He will be dearly missed. Funeral Service: Friday, June 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Iron River, with Rev. George Maki to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
