Reginald K. Raymond

Reginald “Reggie” K. Raymond, age 87, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, WI. He was born on October 26, 1932 in Gaastra, MI, the son of the late Clifford and Mary (Bobula) Raymond. He attended the Iron River Schools, graduating with the Class of 1951. Reggie married Ruth Kavero on January 5, 1960 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River. The couple made their home in Iron River. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in 2019 before her passing on December 14, 2019. He was a self-employed iron worker for 25 years, owning Raymond Iron and Metal. Reggie was a member of the American Legion Reino Post 21 and the Iron County Golden K. He was a former member of the Iron River Elks Lodge 1671, where he was a two-time Exalted Ruler. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. Reggie is survived by his daughter, Deb ( Kevin Abing) Tiedt of Little Chute, WI; sons, Steven (Mary) Raymond of Iron River and Jody Raymond of Denmark, WI; grandchildren, Nicole Stachowicz, Kimberly Letourneau, Julie Reddinger, Jennifer Sparapani, Keith Raymond, Jared Raymond, and Kaysa Raymond; several great grandchildren.
