Reginald J. Smith

Reginald J. Smith, age 70, of Alvin, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. He was born on March 25, 1951, in Green Bay, WI, the son of the late Veeser and Gwenith (Thrasher) Smith. He attended and graduated from the Green Bay Schools. He was a proud US Marine Corps Veteran. Reginald married Joyce Shepherd on March 25, 1978. The couple celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in 2013. Joyce preceded him in death on January 5, 2014. He was employed as a press operator then supervisor for John Crane Manufacturing in Crystal Falls, MI. Reginald retired in 2006 from Phelps Casting in Phelps, WI. He was a member of The American Legion Reino Post #21 in Iron River, MI. Reginald loved camping, fishing, and family celebrations. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Reginald survived by his son, Shad Smith of Texas; daughters, Ginger (John VanWager) Davis of Crystal Falls, MI, Vicki (Scott) Shamion of Hartland, WI, and Tanda (Steve Miljour) Lorenz of Escanaba, MI; sisters, Sheila Smith and Nina Smith, both of Green Bay, WI; seven grandchildren, Brad (Shannon) Suheski, Derrick (Abbey) Suheski, Craig Suheski, Justen Lambert, Austen Lambert, Bailey Shamion, and Jacob Shamion; three great grandchildren, Haileigh, Cedrick, and Wade Suheski; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Smith. A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Shepherd Cemetery.
