Renee G. Lindstrom

Renee G. Lindstrom, age 82, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, MI. She was born on March 16, 1940, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Leslie and Eleanor Wilcox. She attended the Elgin, IL Schools, graduating with the Elgin High School Class of 1957. Renee then attended nursing school at Illinois Masonic School of Nurses, graduating in 1960. She was employed as a registered nurse, charge nurse, ambulance transfers to Green Bay, and later at the surgery center in Riverside, CA. Renee was a member of the Route 66 San Bernadino, CA Theater. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, volunteering, crafting, helping at the Route 66, wardrobe at the theater, and gardening. In 1961 Renee married Jay Lindstrom of Iron River and they made their home in Neenah, WI. Renee is survived by her sons, Brian Lindstrom of Iron River, MI and Jeff (Lisa) Lindstrom of Iron River, MI; cousin, Val Miester of Chicago, IL; extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Iron River.
