Rhonda Lee Larock

Rhonda Lee (Chmielewski) LaRock, age 47, of Iron Mountain, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 2, 2017 in Iron River. She was born September 29, 1969 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of Joseph and Joanne (Nordstrom) Chmielewski. She attended the Iron River High School, graduating with the Class of 1988. Rhonda married Stewart LaRock on July 4, 2015 in Stambaugh, Michigan. She was employed as a Corrections Officer by the State of Michigan for many years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and being outdoors, especially swimming. She loved her two daughters greatly and lived for her granddaughter, Autumn. Rhonda is survived by her husband, Stewart; daughters, Kristi Lee Webber and Hayley Ann Miller; granddaughter, Autumn Mae Anderson; brothers, Arne Maki and Bobby Chmielewski; sisters, Gail (Dave) Casey, Lori Polich and Roberta (Dave) Nelson; mother-in-law, Kathy LaRock; brother-in-law, Mike (Carri) LaRock; as well as step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph; step-father, Robert Maki, and brother, Joe Chmielewski. Private family services will be held.
