Richard D. Jacobson

Richard D. Jacobson, age 78, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. He was born on February 27, 1944, in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late William and Edna (Goodman) Jacobson. Richard married Judy Gasperini on August 5, 1961, in Crystal Falls, MI. The couple celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this year. Working was his passion and Richard owned and operated Jacobson Heating for over 30 years. Richard is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Shelley (Cory) Giuliani of Bergland, MI, Barb Villeneuve, Terry (Duane) Porier, Eric Jacobson, and Lloyd Jacobson, all of Iron River, MI; sister, Susan (Bob) Pelczar of Milwaukee, WI; grandchildren, Jessy, Lisa, Beth, Jarin, Tina Riley, Hailey, Rory, and Audry; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Norman and Kenny Jacobson and sister, Colleen Tamlyn. Private family services were held.
