Robert L. Conrad

Robert “Bob” L. Conrad, age 83, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Iron River Care Center. He was born on July 25, 1937 in Wyandotte, MI, the son of the late Alphias B. Conrad and Gladys L. (Wilson) Powell. Bob attended the Bancroft, MI schools. He was employed as a factory worker for Johnson Controls Battery Div. in Owosso, MI for 28 years. Bob spent his retirement in Iron River. He enjoyed socializing, fishing, and feeding the wildlife in his backyard. Bob is survived by his sons Robert (Darlene) Conrad Jr, and Chris (Veronica) Conrad, both of Owosso, MI, Joseph (Lisa) Conrad of Flushing, MI, and Gary Scott Conrad of Howell, MI; daughter, Melissa (Bradley) Crater of Ovid, MI; sister, Phyllis West; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; and special friend, Delores Cimarelli of Iron River, MI. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Alfred, Duane, and Larry Conrad, and his sisters, Doris Merroquin, Ilene Kostoff, Shirley McGregor, and Barbara Grinage. Private services will be held.
