Robert J. Grant

Robert J. Grant passed away on September 15, 2019 at Lifepath Hospice, Tampa, FL., following a short illness. Rob was born in Stambaugh, MI to Robert and Barbara Grant on March 3, 1963.  He attended schools in Welches, OR and Iron River, MI. Rob enjoyed spending time with his dog, cooking, traveling, laughing, joking, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Grant, brother, Edward Grant, and sister, Jean Maki. Rob is survived by his mother, Barbara (Robert) Goodman of Dallas, OR; children, Michelle (Justin) Schandel of Gaastra, MI, Cheryl (Bill) Uren of Iron River, MI, Anthony Novoa fo Albania, IA, and Robert “RJ” Grant of Pocahontas, IA; 10 grandchildren, Hailee, Logan, Autumn, Lexxi, Hannah, Chase, Elizabeth, Billy, Mara, and Cooper; sister, Janet (Dale) Melstrom of Iron River, MI; brothers, Ken Grant of Iron River, MI and Michael (Mary Jo) Grant of Negaunee, MI; and special uncle, John Maki of Edgewater, FL.
