Robert Holliday

Robert G. Holliday Age 99 Iron River, MI Passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at his daughter 's home. He was born April 8, 1913 in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Robert and Anna (Weber) Holliday. He attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School with the Class of 1931. Robert married the former Dorothy Haas on July 12, 1940 in Detroit and the couple moved to the Iron River area in 1958. Dorothy preceded him in death. He was employed as a salesman for Proskch Lumber Company for many years, retiring in 1975. Robert was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Tom and George Holliday, sister, Dorothy Holliday, sons-in-law, David Brandt and Paul Maki, and grandson, Daniel Maki. He is survived by his son, Joel Holliday of Milwaukee, WI Daughters, Carol Brandt of Walled Lake, MI Linda Maki of Iron River Sister, Ruthe Miner of Sylmar, CA 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren Numerous nieces and nephews Private family services will be held.
