Robert Lohrey

Robert ""Bob"" J. Lohrey, age 47, Iron River, MI died Friday, November 23, 2007 at his home. Born October 10, 1960 in Iron River. The son of the late David and Barbara (Mikkola) Lohrey attended the Iron River schools, graduating from Iron River High School. He then attended Bay de Noc Community College. He returned to the area and was a self-employed carpenter. Bob's treasure was his granddaughter Bre who always called him GRANDPA SPONGE BOB. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Bob loved the outdoors, especially four wheeling and kayaking, and enjoyed the company of people around him. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Ronald in 1999. He is survived by his daughter Nikki Lohrey of Appleton, WI Three brothers; Dave (Tina) Lohrey of Loveland, CO Rick (Nancy) Lohrey of Milwaukee, WI Glen (Shauna) Lohrey of Gaastra, MI One granddaughter, Breanne Bond Several nieces and nephews Visitation: Friday, November 30, 2007 from 9 to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Friday, November 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with the Rev. John Fish to officiate. Interment: Resthaven Cemetery, Iron River.
