Roberta Armata

Roberta A. Armata, 70, of Iron River passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Iron River Care Center. She was born September 2, 1942 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of Blaise and Ethel (Peterson) Nohlechek. She attended Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School with the Class of 1960. Roberta married Francis ""Frank"" Armata on April 24, 1965 in Iron River. The couple celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary this year. Roberta was employed as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed photography and her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents. Roberta is survived by her husband, Frank and son, Leonard Armata of Juneau, WI. Visitation will be held, Monday, May 20, 2013 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to officiate.
