Ronald C. Froblom

Ronald C. Froblom, age 54, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at UP Health System-Marquette, MI after a brief illness with brain cancer. He was born on November 7, 1965 in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Charles and Rosemary (Schiavo) Froblom.  He attended the West Iron County Schools, graduating from with the Class of 1985. He was employed by Iron River Township in the Water and Sewer Department for 21 years.  He was a Trustee on the Stambaugh Township Board.  He enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, working with his backhoe after he retired, and spending time with his dog, Grace.   Ron is survived by his son, Erik Froblom of Iron River; daughter, Alysa Froblom of Appleton, WI; sisters, Tammy Weng of Iron River, Terry (John) Howard of Port Charlotte, FL, and Sally Samis of Souix Falls, SD; special friend, Cindy Stievenart of Gaastra, MI; nephew, John (Amy) Samis; extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Maurer.
