Ronald E. Strom Age 72 Iron River, MI Passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Northstar Health System, Iron River Born April 1st 1939 in Iron River, MI The son of the late Einar and Dorothy (Bray) Strom attended the Iron River schools. Ronald served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He moved down state in 1960. Ronald was a technician in the auto industry for 30 years, retiring in 1995 and moving back to Iron River. Ronald married the former Barbara Greenlund on December 10, 2011 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Iron River. Ronald was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Iron River, UAW, VFW and the American Legion. He enjoyed tinkering with snow blowers, cars, and lawn mowers, traveling, photography, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Bernadine Hatswell and Darlene Schultz. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Strom, Iron River Son, Ronald (Denise) Strom, Hillsboro, OR Stepsons, Al Lincoln, Howell, MI John (Becky) Leonoff, Gladstone, MI Douglas (Krista) Leonoff, Iron River Daughter, Tammy Strom, Grand Blanc, MI Stepdaughters, Brenda Hopkins, Laona, WI Christine (Lee) LaFountain, Iron River Brother, Larry Strom, Iron River Sister, Marge (Dan) Uhl, Benton Harbor, MI Nine grandchildren One great grandson Many wonderful friends Visitation: Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River.
