Ronnie E. Jones

Ronnie E. Jones, age 80, of Caspian, MI, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was born on May 31, 1943, in Elkhart, IN, the son of the late Ernie and Jeanette Jones. Ronnie attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School with the class of 1962. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Ronnie married Jullie Tashkoff on June 7, 1962, in Texas. The couple celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in 2014. Jullie preceded him in death on February 2, 2015. He was employed as a maintenance man at St. Joseph Hospital in Ponca City, OK. Ronnie was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. He loved to fish and sit outside. Ronnie is survived by his son, Kevin (Lori) Jones of Ponca City, OK; daughters, Kim Medearis of Sand Springs, OK and Toni (Robert) Hoch of Ponca City, OK; brother, Jack Jones of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Cathy (Ronnie) Atanasoff of Iron River, MI; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
