Rose May Langdon

Rose M. Langdon, age 90, of Iron River, MI, died Saturday December 19, 2009 at the Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI. Born: November 26, 1919 in Mineral Hills Village, MI The daughter of the late Henry and Lizzie Helen (James) Bryant attended the Lincoln and Central schools graduating from Iron River High School in 1937. Rose married Melvin Langdon on Novemebr 2, 1940 at St. John's Episcopal Church of Iron River and the couple were lifelong residents of the area. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1990 and Melvin preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church of Iron River. She was also preceded in death by her sister Phyllis Connery. She is survived by her son, Jonathon (Barbara) Langdon of Wyoming, MN Daughter, Bonnie Poe of Knoxville, TN Sister, Minnie Trempe of Red Wing, MN Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren Vistation: Monday December 28, 2009 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, Iron River. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, Iron River with Deacon Janet Fritsche to officiate.
