Roy Koski

Roy Koski, 70, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, MI. He was born on April 20, 1954, in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Konstant and Leona (Beckman) Koski, Jr. Roy attended the local schools, graduating from West Iron County High School with the class of 1972. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Roy married Leanne Harrington on August 2, 1980, in Crystal Falls, MI. They celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary in 2024. He was employed as the Floor Manager at Northern Waters Casino Resort in Watersmeet, MI. Roy enjoyed taking pictures and photography, reading, and listening to Blues music. Roy is survived by his wife, Leanne; children, Jackie (Josh) Sunn of Iron River, MI, Patrick (Emily) Koski of Naperville, IL, and Connie (Mike Holmes) Koski of Little Suamico, WI; grandchildren, Jenna Sunn, Maddie Holmes, Brooklynn Holmes, James Koski, and Thomas Koski; brothers, David (Donna) Koski of Iron River, MI, Glen (Joy) Koski of Iron River, MI, and Ben (Carolyn) Koski of Schofield, WI; niece and nephew, Alice and Michael Jackson, extended family, and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, John and Wayne Koski. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.
