Ruth E. Thibodeau

Ruth E. Thibodeau, age 86, of Iron River, MI, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, MI. She was born April 22, 1929 in Marquette, MI, the daughter of the late John and Aileen (Hendrickson) Erickson. She attended and graduated from Stambaugh High School. Ruth married Alexander Thibodeau Jr. on May 10, 1945 in Negaunee, MI, and the couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1995. Alexander preceded her in death on March 17, 1998. She was employed as a Hospital Dietician for over 26 years. Ruth was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church of Ishpeming. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and especially loved her children and grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her sons, Wayne (Sandra) Thibodeau of Iron River, and Guy (Ida) Thibodeau of Kaukauna, WI; daughters, Susan (Tom) Berholtz of Black Creek, WI, and Carol Wilson (special friend Randy) of Appleton, WI; eight grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Larry and Geary Thibodeau, and brothers, John and Ernie Erickson.
