Ryan J. Mylchreest

Ryan J. Mylchreest, age 25 of Gaastra, MI, died Monday, March 29, 2010 at his home. Born: March 18, 1985 in Iron River, MI The son of Jerry and Nancy (Carlson) Mylchreest attended the West Iron County Schools, graduating with the Class of 2004, where he played football and wrestled. He was in 4-H for 15 years and raised market hogs and steers. Following graduation, Ryan attended Gogebic Community College for his certification as a lineman technician. He was employed by Asplundh Tree Service for five years and was a member of Union # 2150. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and participating in the annual ""Demo Derby"". Ryan especially loved spending time with his daughter, Gracie. He is survived by his daughter, Gracie Parents, Jerry and Nancy Mylchreest of Iron River Sister, Jaclyn Mylchreest of Iron River Paternal grandmother, Pearl Mylchreest of Iron River Maternal grandparents, Dale and Judy Carlson of Iron River Aunts and uncles; Randy Mylchreest (Tammy Remer) Carolyn Beck Alan and Carol Toukkala Pat and Donna Jackson Don and Sally Fiorani Marge Mylchreest John Carlson Phil and Mary Carlson Elliott Carlson (Pat Molle) Great aunt, Nancy Carlson Cousins and extended family He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Mervin Mylchreest. Visitation: Saturday, April 3, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Iron River. Funeral Service: Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev, Dawn Treado Green to officiate.
