Sally A. Johnson

Sally A. Johnson, age 86, of Alvin, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1937, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Donald and Irene (LaFountain) May. She attended the Stambaugh Schools and graduated. Sally married John “Jack” A. Johnson on October 1, 1955, in Iron River. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in 2022. Jack preceded her in death on December 27, 2022. She was employed as a nurse aide at the Iron River Care Center before retiring. Sally enjoyed traveling with Jack and spending their winters in Texas, taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sally is survived by her son, Donald (Kathleen) Johnson of Alvin, WI; grandchildren, Courtney Johnson, Jackie Johnson, Scott Johnson, and Heather Coates; great grandchildren, Jack Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Trinity Johnson, Hailey Coates, and Hannah Coates; extended family and friends.
