Sally A. Linna

Sally A. Linna, age 81, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, MI. She was born on March 1, 1938 in Quinnesec, MI, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Ann (Widas) Brooks.  She attended the Iron River Schools and graduated. Sally married Roger Linna on October 25, 1958 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River.  The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2018.  She was employed as a teacher’s aide at West Iron County Schools for 30 years.  She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River.  She enjoyed playing Bingo, being with her friends in the birthday club, and always enjoyed taking care of kids.  Sally is survived by her husband, Roger; sons, Michael Linna of Bates Twp., MI and Patrick Linna of Iron River, MI; grandchildren, Nicole and Joey (Carrie) Linna; great grandchildren, Parker and Ava Linna; brother-in-law, James Linna; extended family and friends.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11am at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev.
