Sandra L. Melchiori

Sandra L. Melchiori, age 69, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at the Iron River Care Center. She was born on July 29, 1952, in Iron River, MI, the daughter of the late Gerald and Mavis (Johnson) Goodman. Sandra attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from West Iron County High School with the Class of 1969. She then attended Northern Michigan University and earned an associate degree. She was employed as a secretary for Dean’s Oil Company. Sandra was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Iron River. She like to socialize and enjoyed animals and spending time at Ice Lake. Sandra is survived by her son, David Melchiori of Marquette, MI; daughter, Dana (Paul Stokoski) Melchiori of Iron River, MI; grandchildren, Lily Hawke and Dawson and Mason Melchiori; brothers, James (Carol) Goodman of Arlington Heights, IL and Dean (Lois) Goodman of Iron River, MI; special cousin, Pam Gasperini; special friend, Fay Frailing; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor DJ Rasner and Vicar Lance Crevier to officiate.
