Sandra J. Spears-Williams

Sandra J. Spears-Williams, age 70, of Iron River, MI, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. Sandy was born on April 29, 1950 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Wehvila) Autio. Sandy attended the Iron River Schools, graduating with the Class of 1968. Sandy married Roger Williams on March 9, 1994 in New Rochelle, NY, where the couple made their home before moving to the area. They celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary this year. She was employed as a chef and at the AmericInn in Iron River before retiring. She enjoyed bowling, boating, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. Sandy is survived by her husband, Roger Williams of Iron River, MI; daughters, Jennifer (Anthony) Spears-Pignataro of Shelton, CT and Dawn (Noel) Harrison of Midland, MI; stepdaughter, Lisa (Matt) Seymour of New Milford NJ; sister, Carol (Willard) Olson of Iron River, MI; sister-in-law, Kay Autio of Marshall, MI; grandchildren, Brandon, Tianna, Alyssa, and Jamie Pignataro, Haleigh, Sarah, and Cayla Harrison, and Mackenzie Seymour; great grandchildren, Gabriella, Jayden, Jordan, and D-Angelo; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
