Santford Moore, Jr.

Santford “Sam” Moore, age 59, of Gillett, WI, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI.  He was born on November 15, 1960 in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Santford B. and Loretta (Puckett) Moore Sr. He attended the Milwaukee Schools and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1978.    Sam married Kelly McCollister on July 12, 1980 at the Pentecostal Church in Shawano, WI.  They celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary this year.  He was employed as laborer.  Sam enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren.  Sam is survived by his wife, Kelly; sons, Sam (Becky) Moore of Crivitz, WI and Andy (Teri) Moore of Angelica, WI; grandchildren, Mikaela, Andrew, Garrett, Wyatt, and Delaney Moore; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.  He was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jerry Taylor and sister Debra Moore.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 9:30am to 10:45am at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.  Funeral services will follow at 11am with Pastor Dawn Robbins to officiate.  Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Alvin, WI in the spring.  To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Santford Moore, Jr., please visit our flower store.
