Sarah L. Economy

Sarah L. Ecomony, age 37, of Caspian, MI, left this world to travel to another place on February 15, 2016. She was born December 20, 1978 in Warren, MI, the daughter of John and Kathleen (Ripple) Economy. She attended and graduated from West Iron County High School. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends for her kind, caring, giving, loving, free spirit. The simple things like rainstorms, rainbows, and saving turtles on the roads were the things she enjoyed and made her happy. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping and exploring. She was an amazing mother who loved her children. They were the most important to her. Sarah is survived by her lifelong partner and soul mate, Brian Holmberg; cherished children, Jacob, Julia, and Jonah; mother, Kathleen Economy; brother, Nathan (Francy) Economy; Aunt, Jane and Uncle Dave; Aunt Kelly; Uncle Mark; Bob and Lynn Holmberg; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Dwayne), and Sherri; special cousin, Amanda; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, John Economy, Grandpa and Grandma Ripple, and special aunts, Robin and Meg Ripple. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Covenant Church of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., with Rev. James Swanson II to officiate.
