Scott M. Byczek

Scott M. Byczek, age 36, of Rhinelander, WI, formerly of Iron River, MI, passed away March 12, 2015. He was born July 11, 1978 in Iron River, MI, the son of Danny and Cheryl (Vidas) Byczek. He attended and graduated from the West Iron County Schools. He was a member of the Upper Peninsula River Church. An avid reader, he also enjoyed politics and sports. Scott is survived by his son, McFarlane Byczek; parents, Danny and Cheryl Byczek of Iron River; brothers, Todd (Amy) Byczek of Fishers, IN, Mark (Kelly) Byczek of Marquette, MI, and Cory (Crystal) Jackson of South Bend, IN; grandmothers, Mary Louise Balducci, and Mabel Vidas; nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Edward M. Vidas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Upper Peninsula River Church. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor James Pellizzer to officiate. Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery in the spring.
