Sharon E. Moore

Sharon E. Moore Age 72 Iron River, MI Passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Iron River Care Center. She was born June 23, 1940 in Green Bay, WI, the daughter of the late Herman and Elaine (King) Saylor. She attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School with the Class of 1958. Sharon married Walter Moore on May 17, 1958 in Iron River and the couple were lifelong residents of the area. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this year. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Iron River. Sharon enjoyed her flower garden, feeding the birds, and sewing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Walter Sons, Gary Moore of Portland, OR Walter Moore Jr. of Iron River Daughters, Victoria (Dennis) Powell of Iron River Mary Bult of Bonita Springs, FL Brother, Mark (Nancy) Saylor of Iron River Sister, Janet (Bimbo) Alexa of Iron River Many grandchildren and great grandchildren She was also preceded in death by her son Kurt. Visitation: Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral Service: Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River, with Pastor Dawn Treado Green to officiate. Interment: Resthaven Cemetery, Iron River.
