Sharon "Shari" Sue Stapleton

Sharon “Shari” Sue Stapleton, age 50, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly from an auto accident on Thursday, December 16, 2021. She was born on July 28, 1971, in Peru, IN, the daughter of Ronald and Kathy Stapleton and Sharon Depoy. She attended and graduating from West Iron County High School with the class of 1990. Shari married Jamie Woolever on October 28, 2014, in Sault Lake City, UT. She was employed as a cook and bartender, running Dabeck’s Deli with Jamie. Shari was a member The American Legion Reino Post 21 Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping, cooking, fishing, playing cornhole, traveling, and spending time with her family. Shari is survived by her wife, Jamie of Alexandria, IN; father, Ronald Stapleton of Iron River; mother, Sharon Walter Peru, IN; son, Stephen (Courtney) Parker of Frankton, IN; daughters, Barbara Jean Stapleton of Iron River, MI and Toni (Jason) Sevier of Camby, IN; brothers, Robert Stapleton of Iron River, MI, Damionne Whitt of Martinsville, IN; sister, Donnie Depoy of Peru, IN; grandchildren, Gavin and Kamden Kinney, Brenna Parker, and Ellorie and Rowan Sevier; extended family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Stapleton and her sister, Ronni Stapleton. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.
