Shelly D. Blacyki

Shelly D. Blacyki, age 64, of Caspian, MI, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was born on January 29, 1959, in Crystal Falls, MI, the daughter of the late Richard and Winifred (Vassar) Blacyki. She attended the West Iron County Schools. She was employed as a motel manager before retiring. Shelly enjoyed crafting, fishing, baking, and spending time with family and playing dice with her grandma. Shelly is survived by her son, Freddie Seymour of Iron River, MI; daughters, Nicole (Thomas) Glasco of Grand Rapids, MI and Linnea (Joe) Kelly of Sault Ste, Marie, MI; brothers, Keary Blacyki and Kyle (Sara) DeCorah, both of Mole Lake, WI; sisters, Rhonda (Tony) Remer and Kim Schmidt, both of Iron River, MI, and Theresa (Bill) Carter of Ishpeming, MI; grandchildren, Robbie (Makayla) Seymour, Adrianna Seymour, Ariana Guyton, Darian Stephan, Daveontae Glasco, Aurora Nicholas, Alexis Kelly, and Joseph Kelly; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Kevin Blacyki and Clint DeCorah and sister, Lori Nelson. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
