Sherry L. White

Sherry L. White, age 69, of Iron River, MI, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Iron River Care Center. She was born January 11, 1947 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Samuel and Eleanore E. (Hansen) Pascenti.   She attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating with the Class of 1965. Sherry married Jerry White on September 13, 1969 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian, MI, and the couple celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary in 2016. She worked side by side with her husband at Northern Printing and Graphics for 34 years. She attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian. Sherry loved reading, working crossword puzzles, listening to music, going to concerts, baking, cooking, and bowling. She especially loved the holidays and loved riding on the Harley with her husband Jerry. Sherry is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Jamison White of Green Bay, WI; daughter, Melissa White of Baltimore, MD; brothers, Anthony Pascenti of Green Bay, WI, and Francis Pascenti (Pam Fasthorse) of Appleton, WI; sisters, Diane (Paul) Eastman of Green Bay, WI, and Kim (Duane) Sommers of Greenville, WI; sister-in-law Ginger (Clayton) LaBine of Mesa, AZ; very special friends, Duane and Diane Petcoff of Keshena, WI; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dewan Pascenti. Visitation will be held Friday, January 13th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Deacon Robert Kostka to officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery in the spring.
