Stephen M. Gasperini

Stephen M. Gasperini, 50, passed away February 2, 2020 at the Wausau Aspirus Hospital. He was an enthusiast of fast cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, four wheelers, yard work, outdoor adventures and cleaning. Stephen was an entrepreneur and creative recycler of used tires, a skill acquired from his father. Stephen was also a dedicated father. He moved to Iron River in 2007 to be closer to his father and to raise his two daughters. Stephen was the son of Shirley (Halls) Modes and the late Maurice R Gasperini. He is survived by his two daughters, Christina and Tabatha Gasperini; three sisters, Bridgette (Gasperini) Reyna-Meadows, Sarah and Emily Gasperini; and brother, David Modes. Stephen gave in death as he gave in life, as a registered organ and tissue donor. Memorial services will be held March 7, 2020 from 10am-12pm at Jacobs Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life at the VFW Post 3134, both in Iron River, MI.
